Youth Fire Expo

This year we are changing up Fire Camp and opening the day up to families! The Youth Fire Expo will be held on Saturday, July 20 at Suggett Park. This will not be a camp setting, but a community day where everyone can participate and have fun. Learn how to hook a hose up to a hydrant, rise above the pine trees in the ladder truck, and sit in the drivers seat of a fire engine! Although registration is not required, the first 200 kids to register on-line will receive a t-shirt. The Youth Fire Expo will run from 9:00AM until 3:00PM at Suggett Park. Registration opens June 1. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The Fire Department is not responsible for supervision of attendees in any form.

hello cortland community play date

It’s here!

Our first hello cortland community wide play date is happening on July 18th from 3-6 (or whenever!) at Suggett Park.

Bring the whole family to swim, splash, and play with us. Don’t forget to pack a picnic, bubbles, chalk, and anything else you’d like to share with your new friends!

We cannot wait to meet you! #hellocortland

This day would not be possible without the help from some pretty amazing people. Thank you to Andrea Piedigrossi, Reif’s Sweet Treats, and the crew at Graph Tex for your contributions to this event!
