K-2 Library Zoo is a fun after school program for children in K-2nd grade. The program meets on Wednesdays at approximately 3:30 pm (after Homer Elementary walker dismissal) until 4:15 pm. Each week of the month will be a different program and includes: LEGO Club, Science Club, Book Club and Story Time.

Registration is not necessary.

Registration is required. A program for emergent readers ages 4 – 7 yrs. & their caregivers.  The program promotes early literacy skills with letter sounds & recognition, activities & stories.  Each week children will receive a free book & parents will have learned activities to reinforce reading skills at home.

Come on over to the library for storytime on Fridays at 10 am with songs, great stories, crafts and activities for toddlers and preschoolers. Each week we celebrate a different theme with a free book for each family while supplies last (provided through generous grant funding from the Rosen Family Library Fund of the Community Foundation of Tompkins County)

• September 6 - Celebrate Grandparents day! Pick a book from our book cart to read with a grandparent or loved one

• September 13 - Cars and Trucks and Thing that Go! Mucky Truck

• September 20 - Fall Friends  Before We Sleep

Knee High Story Time meets at 9 am on Wednesdays.  Each week you can expect stories, songs and rhymes around a specific theme followed by an optional craft.  No registration necessary.

Family Book Club is for children age 4-8 with their family. The club meets the 2nd Monday of the month from September through June.

This group required pre-registration.

We will meet on the last Tuesday of each month at 4 p.m. to make a craft. Open to ages 6-12. Registration is limited and is required each month.

Join us on Mondays for giant sized games on the back patio. This is open to all students K-12th grade. Registration is not necessary. In the case of inclement weather we will play inside downstairs.
