4 Reasons to Bring Your Family to The Great Cortland Pumpkinfest
The Great Cortland Pumpkinfest is a family-friendly celebration of all things fall. Here is why you should get the family together and head out to Courthouse Park on Saturday, October 5th and 6th for the festivities.

Courthouse Park is filled with tents of crafters (100+)! You're sure to find something interesting to look at or take home. You will find handmade items, jewelry, furniture, hand painted decorative slates and pet accessories.
Don’t miss performances Big Soul Family Band (featuring members of The Jeff Love Band, Thru Spectrums, Noon Fifteen, Kitestring, Fall Creek Brass Band and Julia Felice and the Whiskey Crisis), Tribal Revival, Kitestring, Tailor Made and more!
The Great Cortland Pumpkinfest is not only full of fun things to do, but also of delicious things to eat! The festival features food vendors from all over the Central New York area. Come to the festival on Saturday and Sunday to sample tasty treats such as:
Barbeque
Pizza
Baked goods
Chili
Kettle corn
And much more!
Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) of Cortland County is having an Autumn Harvest Baking Contest on Saturday at 12pm!
Don’t miss the 14th Annual Cortland Loaves and Fishes Pancake Breakfast on Sunday from 7 am -11 am. Enjoy a warm, hearty morning meal before heading out to the Pumpkinfest, and help us feed the hungry! All proceeds go directly to Cortland Loaves & Fishes. Donations: $15 per family, $6 per adult, $3 children 5-11 years. Free for children 4 years and under.
Location: Grace and Holy Spirit Church, 13 Court Street, Cortland (Right near the Cortland City Fire Department, 1/2 block from the Great Cortland Pumpkinfest)
Hayrides are available throughout the weekend for $1 a piece (maximum $5 per family)! Children under 5 ride for free! There will also be the Kids' Zone Tent with games for children of all ages to play and activities to get them in the spirit of fall. Those who come in and play games can win prizes all weekend long. The Tractors of Yesteryear are also on display both days, showing many of the tractors that were used on farmland around the area over the course of the past 150 years. Members of the Tractors of Yesteryear club are available to talk about the tractors. Swing into the harvest season with a ride on the midway! A carnival-style midway will be at the Great Cortland Pumpkinfest courtesy of Ontario Amusements both days of the festival. Rides for all ages will be at the festival all weekend- we hope to see you there!
