The Cortland County Health Department’s Certified Child Passenger Technicians will be conducting FREE child safety seat checks at the Cortlandville Fire Department on September 23, 2023 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

This event is aimed to educate families and caregivers about how to safely transport their children and reduce the chance of car seat misuse. Certified Child Passenger Technicians will be available to check a child’s seat for proper installation, harnessing and the overall safety of the seat.
