To help support children in the Homer and Cortland area, the Homer Congregational Church will be holding their 4th annual PREP (Providing Resources and Essentials in Preparation for School) Event on August 24 from 1-3pm on the Village Green, in front of the church. Free sneakers, underwear, toothbrushes, and other personal hygiene items will be provided to school-aged children, accompanied by an adult. Various community resources will also be represented and information offered, that can provide assistance to children and their families. Free ice cream cups will also be offered. Please join us with your children as we help to prepare them for the start of school!
